On this weekend, Patty and I went up to Fletcher, NC, to visit Doris and Mike. We left on Thursday afternoon, got as far as Brunswick, GA on the first day, and finished the trip on Friday with a nice dinner in Hendersonville, NC. On Saturday, we visited the Carl Sandburg House near Flat Rock, NC, and then had a nice dinner at their condo before finishing the evening at the Feed and Seed with music. Sunday started out at the Dupont State Forest with it's three waterfalls, and finished at the Juicy Lucy restaurant. And on Monday, we all went down to Liberty, SC (right on the centerline) to watch the solar eclipse. Mike had picked this place, and it was a wonderful place to watch the eclipse. Patty and I continued south to Macon for the night, while Doris and Mike went back to Fletcher. On Tuesday, we finished the trip. I was able to capture some of the highlights of the weekend in this movie.
